WHY WE MERIT YOUR SUPORT
My thanks to those citizens who support this organization and its programs.
Because our efforts deal with public safety and education, the tax paying public has the legitimate right to ask why he or she should lend their support. After all, plenty of our taxes already support public safety and education.
That’s why I urge you to learn more about our programming.
Unlike government programs, what we do is not mandated. Yet each year, police departments and schools from across the country participate in what we have to offer.
I believe the reasons are twofold:
- First, it is the quality of our ideas. Quite, simply, no one else is doing what we do.
- Second, and most importantly, the police veterans who guide our programs have never lost their idealism. Their spirit drives the programming. Their vigor it gives it “heart” – which is why it works !
Citizens like you, understand that there is a vital role for privately funded, citizen organizations to play in promoting the safety and well-being of public safety officers. I love this country. I respect and honor our government. (I have worked for it for many years.) But there are some things that best come from independent-minded groups. The programs we provide are among those things.

Although some of our online content is restricted to law enforcement — much is specifically intended for citizens — both young and old. We have prepared a range of educational materials — including safety tips found on this site concerning PROCEED WITH CAUTION.
Once again thank you for your assistance. It means a great deal to us. The law enforcement leadership of the Police Protective Fund is committed to insuring a long and satisfying career for everyone in uniform. With your help, we will continue to do just that.
